short and simple

To make a accurate rating I need to find out whether the described program works for me or not. Great advantage of this book is the restriction to the essential and the simple description of training blocks. With this book you have a good training supervision through the whole season. The book is aimed at people who are already familiar with the exercises even if they are described. Perfect would be the book from my point of view, when the techniques of the various Highland Games disciplines would be described in detail.

must have for all strength athletes

this is without a doubt the best thing i have ever read. my eyes turned from s*** brown to aryan blue only after reading the foreword. i have transformed from the small worthless guy that gets pushed into the water cooler to what i would consider a level 1 pussy slayer. not only has my confidence gone through the roof, but my testosterone is so high that pFizer reps show up at my place every morning and give me a "milking". the techinical term is "harvesting" but hey who cares? the excess T goes to those in in countries where the boys are feeble and suffer from skinny fatness.
promotions at work become so common that instead of raises im now paid with silver bars.
i conduct every wedding that i attend and every couple has named their first born Matt Vincent.
so....i guess you could say things are getting pretty serious.
highly recommend.

Great Training Guide for all Athletes

This is a great training guide for all level of athletes from the beginner to the advanced there is something for all not just the Highland games athlete but also for any athlete looking for a very well laid out plan for developing strength and power for there sport... yes this does have more emphasis on Highland Games but the core can be used for any sport any season and if you have questions the Author Matt Vincent is always happy to help out with anything. I suggest if you are a strength athlete of any kind give this a try if nothing else it's another weapon in your arsenal for training.
